Tel-Abid represents a moment of reflection and
silence faced with the suffering of captives. In these moments of stupor , the heart is called to
compassion and prayer . As Esaiah recalls 61: 1, we are called to bring the
Good news to the afflicted. The presence of God also manifests itself in our moments of
silence , as in Psalm 46:10, where he invites us to
be quiet and to recognize his sovereignty. May our faith guide us to be instruments of peace and hope.
